Summary

As a Design Engineer at Vedha Toolings , you will play a crucial role in the design and development of high-quality plastic injection molds and related components. Your innovative thinking, technical expertise, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our company

Key Responsibilities

• 1. CAD Modeling: Utilize CAD to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of mold components, considering factors like part geometry, material properties, and manufacturing processes.

  2. Mold Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product designers and manufacturing experts, to create efficient and effective injection mold designs that meet quality and performance standards.

  3. Prototyping: Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate mold designs and identify potential improvements, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
     

Key Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and drafting.

• Strong understanding of injection molding principles, mold design, and plastic materials.

• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and mold flow analysis is a plus.

• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present ideas.

• Prior experience in a similar role within the injection molding industry is desirable.
